Woman of the Year

This George Stevens romantic comedy was intended to build on Katharine Hepburn’s comeback success in The Philadelphia Story. In it, she stars as Tess alongside Spencer Tracy as Sam. The duo are feuding journalists whose relationship is tested after Sam begins to question Tess’ unflinching commitment to work.
