PG-13

Our Science on Screen series continues its 2025 season with the intricate science fiction film, PRIMER. Before the film starts, David Goldberg, an author, professor, and head of the Department of Physics at Drexel University, will deliver a brief presentation on the theory of time travel.

By day, a small group of engineers work for a large corporation. By night, they conduct extracurricular experiments in their garage. While tweaking their latest project, they accidentally discover it has highly unexpected capabilities ... ones that may enable them to do and gain anything they conceive. Taking advantage of this opportunity is the first challenge they face. Dealing with the consequences could be their last.

Science on Screen is supported by a grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, with additional support from Rubin Anders Scientific, and Ken Loveday and Ellen Hoffman, Brookline. Many thanks to our series founder Richard Anders. Co-presented by the Museum of Science.
