Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

This screwball dark comedy set around the holidays stars Robert Downey Jr. as a two-bit crook who stumbles into an acting audition while on the run from the cops. After landing the role, he's shipped off to Hollywood and flung into a tangled mystery that involves his childhood sweetheart and a hard-boiled private eye. A parody of film noir tropes, KISS KISS, BANG BANG boasts a sharply written script and an electric Downey in the film that helped clinch him the role of Iron Man. Also starring Michelle Monaghan and Val Kilmer. Rated R.
