Jewel Robbery
The lovely Kay Francis and the ever-debonair William Powell star in this pre-Code comedy heist romp. Francis plays a wealthy yet bored socialite who receives a dose of excitement from a charismatic jewel thief played by Powell. After a daring yet successful robbery (involving marijuana) Powell makes off with not only Francis’ diamond ring but her heart. JEWEL ROBBERY is a well-oiled romp that features delightful performances.
