Serving as the connective tissue of Kevin Smith's View Askewniverse (long before Marvel established its own interconnected universe), the not-so-dynamic duo embark on a cross country roadtrip to prevent Hollywood from adapting a well-known comic book property for the big screen. Smith's sharp and witty dialogue cleverly critiques Tinsel Town’s growing obsession with intellectual property, along with movie bloggers and Ben Affleck. The film boasts an eclectic supporting cast that includes Will Ferrell, Carrie Fisher, Matt Damon, and even Morris Day and the Time. Rated R.
