In what would be Robin Williams’ breakthrough performance, GOOD MORNING, VIETNAM casts the comedian as an irreverent radio DJ sent to Saigon during the Vietnam War to help cheer up the troops. While there, he shocks his superior officer, who attempts to censor him, while befriending a local woman who shows him the horrors of war.
