Black Christmas

Inspired by urban legends of the time and considered one of the earliest slasher films in the genre. A group of sorority sisters (led by the phenomenal Olivia Hussey and Margot Kidder) are under attack by a demented and unseen killer during one particularly frosty holiday season. Directed by Bob Clark, who would go on to helm the yuletide classic A Christmas Story. BLACK CHRISTMAS is an indelible and important film in the genre, even going so far as inspiring John Carpenter to make a similarly holiday-themed horror film a few years later.
