County Theater Neighbors Conference Call

A telephone conference call meeting was held on December 17, 2019, at noon to discuss the County Theater Expansion Project.  All immediate neighbors to the County Theater were given notice of this meeting by email.

In attendance were:
Neighbors: Nerice Kendter, Busy Bee Toys; and Vincent Bocchino, Nonno’s Cafe. 
County Theater Staff:  John Toner, Jim Sanders, Mary Bingler, Kristi Romspert, Lauren Nonini, Katie Gross.
Adams Bickel Associates, General Contractor:  Gus Perea, John Danowski, Jim Aylmer.

The meeting was moderated by John Toner, Director, County Theater.

The following items were discussed:
· Fencing going up on State Street. Details about the fencing are found at the County Theater website in “The Latest” section. (CountyTheater.org/expansion/)  A delivery spot will be open in front of the Lenape Building.
· The new Bucks County parking deck is projected to open by the end of the year. We know that parking will be available to the public Mon-Sat 5pm-2am (.50/hr) and all day Sunday (free).  We still don’t know what public availability there will be 8am-5pm Mon-Sat. We have reached out numerous times to get this information. We will continue to do so.
· Theater will reach out to the Borough to ask about the possibility of additional 15 minute parking on Main and W State Streets.
· Arts Festival and PrideFest / Discover Doylestown are being included in project updates.  County staff has reached out to organizers.
· Construction work is still scheduled to begin on Monday, January 6, 2020. Work that week will consist primarily of setting up fencing and barriers. Demo will begin on Mon, Jan 13 and is expected to take 12 days. Project work hours are M-F 7-3:30.
· Future phone calls and meetings will be scheduled to discuss the project. Next meeting likely to be scheduled the week of Jan 6.
